My Little Stinky Face

So I'm writing this a little late but I still wanted to update everyone. On Friday night I was playing with Kate. We were playing our usual games and singing our usual songs, when during Patty Cake out of no where she started laughing. I couldn't believe it. I did it again and once again she laughed. It was the cutest thing I've ever heard. Needless to say she hasn't done it since, despite her mom constantly playing Patty Cake with her. On other news with Kate, she is getting to be so much fun. She plays and interacts more. She loves books and her favorite is "I Love You Stinky Face"...how do I know it's her favorite? She kicks her legs and flaps her arms every time we read it. She loves baths and of course being naked. And every time we're in a room she looks for a TV and if it's on good luck trying to play with her. Lately while she's eating she stops in the middle to look at me and smile. Cute, but now it takes twice as long to feed her and to try to keep her from getting distracted. She wakes up like a true Peterson. It takes her about 15 minutes of me holding her before she is awake enough to engage in any activity. She loves to look in the mirror and smile at herself. She has been such a great baby and I certainly do love my little stinky face, even when she's screaming at me.
