Let me start by saying that Kate hated her Halloween costume. A week prior to Halloween I thought I would be ambitious and make her a costume. I was at JoAnn's looking for patterns and even had one all picked out when it hit me...I don't know how to sew clothes. This posed a slight dilemma so I gave in and bought her the pumpkin suit for 1/2 off. Every time I put Kate in the costume she would try to lick it, get frustrated (I think she thought it was eating time) and start crying. Here's some pictures to prove to you how much she disliked it.
Our Halloween was quite nice. We had about 100 trick-or-treaters, and no, I'm not exaggerating. I wasn't feeling so hot (due to a nasty cold) so Matt ran up and down our stairs to handout the candy. I was so grateful he was home to help. Later that night Matt had to go to Hamilton's to help with the Halloween party. He got dressed in his costume, a doctor, also known as McDreamy. And might I say he looked pretty nice in that costume until I started having flashbacks of the last time I saw a doctor. I was spread eagle pushing what seemed like a big bowling ball out of me. Needless to say the excitement of him in the costume quickly diminished. He left and Kate and I went to bed about 11:00p.m. Matt didn't get home until 5:00a.m! The poor thing was there cleaning up until then. We both feel like we have hangovers, me from the cold medicine, and him from staying up all night. But none the less it was a great Halloween.

I bet it's fun to have a girl...we had a baby boy about a month ago. It's so fun to be a mom...anyway, I hope we can stay in touch, you look great! I am glad that you decided to get her a costume. The pictures and video are so cute!
She is sooo cute! I need to go get my camera from my sister's house so I can post pictures!! Feel better!
Great costume... what a good mom to get Kate all dressed up even though you weren't feeling well.
Even if she wasn't a huge fan of her costume...everyone who sees these pictures will be. She is darling. I have had more fun reading blogs the day after Halloween then - who knows, I can't remember but it has to do with all of these cute babies dressed up. What a doll.
I hope you feel better soon! At least you can take medicine again. Remember the limited drug rule being pregnant? Get well soon!
