Happy 4 Month Birthday!

Today is Kate's four month birthday! I can't believe time has flown by so fast. She's such a sweet little girl who is getting big too fast. She has recently started making some pretty funny noises...she grunts at everything. She grunts at me, her toys, the toys she wants, the TV, her dad, and anything else she sees. It sounds like she's constantly constipated, but no that's just the noises she likes to make. She always wants to see whats going on and is no longer content just laying down and watching. She has also developed some unexpected stinky farts over the past month. Seriously, they are awful! But I don't mind, I'd take a million stinky farts for one smile. She loves her daddy. She especially likes to wake him up in the morning by sitting on him and smiling. She doesn't even mind his stinky breath. I've become quite accustomed to catching spit up in my hands and having my hair pulled constantly. But really I absolutly love motherhood. Although I'm missing some social interaction (anyone want to hang out?) it's worth it. We're so happy to have Kate, I can't imagine life without her.

P.S MY HAIR IS FALLING OUT! And let's be honest, it wasn't all that thick to begin with. I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose it all considering how much has ended up all over the bathroom, bedroom, on Kate, myself, and just about any other surface in our house. Does this ever end? Have any of you other new moms experienced this? Maybe I'll start wig shopping.

The hair loss is TOTALLY normal. It hit me at four months postpartum too. The falling out phase, lasted longer than I thought it would. Andrew was so disgusted by my random hair strands decorating the house, that I finally cut my hair short. And then... you will experience re-growth where your thick hair returns. The science experiment that is pregnancy unfortunately doesn't end once the baby arrives... alas! KATE IS SO ADORABLE!!!

Jason was commenting to me YESTERDAY about all of my hair being everywhere. Hazen constantly has a fist full. Hazen;s 4 month is in 3 days!

I'm still losing my hair (oh wait, that's from me ripping it out from dealing with three boys!). I think the worst part is the regrowth - it results in sticky-uppys for a long time. The things we go through for our children, eh?

Happy four months to Kate! She's sure a cutie.

P.S. I'll hang out with you, Amanda...

I have to agree with the rest of the posts. The hair loss is horrible. I think that I have just recently grown mine back... and Kaiya is almost a year and a half. Yikes! Good luck with that.

I can't believe she's four months! She is so cute! Stinky farts, huh? That reminds me of being in Nauvoo at the place where you can make bread(I can't remember what is was called right now) and talking to a sweet old man, until all of the sudden something happened that made us both unable to stop laughing....hmmm...interesting...Anyway, it's true, the hair loss thing is totally normal. I would shower and huge chunks would end up in my hands. No worries...this too shall pass!

Kate is so cute and big! I can't wait to see and play with her at Christmas. I think I which parent Kate gets her stinky farts from, but I won't mention any names!
