Wednesday Warrior

I found that title appropriate because that's how I feel today, like I'm battling all my cleaning in one day. The last few weeks Kate has only been taking 10-20 minute naps (shoot me) just the right length of time to allow me to get nothing done. As Matt left the house the other day he said I quote, "This house is a dang mess!" Oops I guess I've been slacking on my duties lately, thanks for the wake up call honey...the vacation is over and today was my down and dirty day. So, to prove to my husband that I actually can, and will clean here is what I've accomplished today:

1. Made the bed
2. 5 loads of laundry
3. Took out the trash...there were some nasty stinky diapers in Kate's room
4. Did the dishes
5. Scrubbed out the microwave...I hate cleaning the microwave
6. Scrubbed the kitchen floor
7. Scrubbed the bathroom
8. Vacumed up the left over pine needles form the Christmas tree along with the rest of the house

How was I able to get this all done? This is how.... (Note, she still has one hand on a toy)

And it's only 2:30pm...and I've managed to get my bum to the gym everyday this week. Okay it's only Wednesday but I was proud of myself. Hey if I'm going to run that marathon I have to get working, right?

On other news this week Kate did get a great Christmas present from her Grandma Bailey that she LOVES! Her Jumperoo. The first time we put her in it she just bounced and laughed and bounced some more. Thanks mom!

And you even had time to blog about it. Way to go Amanda! I bet you'll sleep well tonight. Hopefully Kate will too!

Great work Amanda. Someday when I'm rich, I'm going to hire a maid once a week so that I don't have to mop and clean the bathrooms (I hate doing those chores.) Maybe we can live close enough that we can share a maid. Those will be the days.

Isn't it weird how it's so hard to clean with a baby???? GAH! I swear our house is a stinking mess unless Jason is here to hang out with Hazen or help with the cleaning. Looks great!
