The dogs...they have stinky farts, they jump up on us, they are covered in mud constantly, they eat everything, they lick Kate's face...poor Kate, they always play under our bed uncovering the things I "stuff" under there, they have diarrhea on the carpet (gross), they lick the dishes when I'm loading the dishwasher (I guess that helps), and yet I just can't get enough of them.
They really are the greatest puppies, they are so good with Kate and they are just the sweetest little things.
They are very vocal dogs, they really don't bark but they do howl. In the mornings when they are hungry it's the funniest, Bell sounds like Chewbacca, and Duke sounds like a wolf. Often they "talk back" to us, as in "mouthing off" when we tell them to do something. Here's a little sample of what I get to hear everyday.

I love Bell's howl; she does sound like Chewbacca. That is so funny!
