It still amazes me how much she understands at her age. I have really loved this stage that we're in right now. She is just content crawling around the house looking for things to get into. She still isn't walking, the child could easily walk. She stands unassisted constantly, but she is just a little too cautious to actually take that first step. She is obsessed with dogs, of course the real ones, but also her stuffed animal dogs. She would choose her dog over a little doll any day. She is also on this chair kick. She loves to sit in chairs. It doesn't matter how big or small, she just thinks she is the coolest thing in the world for sitting in it. All in all she is such a great little girl. We really love her and are so happy to have her in our family.
P.S. She is starting to sport this really unsightly mullet, any suggestions for her hair? It's way too long in back, but no long enough on the sides yet to let her wear it down. Thus, it is always in pig tails, or pulled back somehow.

You're so smart to write down those cute phrases. Eliza's transitioning from her made-up, wannabe phrases that remotely resemble actual words and phrases to actually saying them correctly. It's exciting, but at the same time,I will miss her self made up versions.
I always have to cut Penelope's mullet because she doesn't grow hair on top or front yet. It's pretty funny.
I didn't realize how bad Savvy's mullet was until I looked at pictures months later! No one told me how white-trash she looked!!! Just give it a quick trim in the back. We've trimmed Savvy's hair 3 times and now the sides are as long as the back.
