Thank You Kate

I've been working hard lately to make sure that we say our prayers with Kate. It usually lasts about 3 seconds, that's about as long as she can stand to hold still. Consisting of "...thank thee for Dadda, mama, baby Kate, and the doggies..." It's pretty simple but I try to use words she knows.

Two nights ago we were going to say our prayers and I said "Kate fold your arms." And she promptly sat down and folded her arms all by herself. It amazed me she knew what to do, and it melted my heart to see that little girl sitting folding her arms waiting to pray. I'm glad to know we're doing something right.

P.S. This is a picture of her out front by our flowers, I've been making these bows for her with ribbon I have, and I think they have turned out pretty cute.

What a sweet girl! Isn't it amazing how much a child's simple gestures welcome the spirit? Her bow is adorable. Where did you find the alligator clips? I found some once but they kept breaking on me... pretty frustrating after I had just spent 3 minutes gluing a bow on it.

That is such a sweet picture of Kate, and also a sweet story about saying her prayers. I am going to start to say them with Makenna...thanks!

I love those bows that you make. I'm definitely going to copy your idea and make some. Hopefully they will come out as cute.

Kate is such a sweet little girl. You guys are definitely doing a great job raising her!
