We're Alive!

We're finally home and settled back into the swing of things after our 2 week vacation. Kate and I flew to Omaha on December 17th and had a great time there. It was nice to see everyone and Kate enjoyed having a big house to run around in. We had fun shopping, going to Morgan's Basketball game, and going swimming. Other than the negative temperatures and the freezing rain it was wonderful!

On Christmas Day we flew to California where Matt and his dad picked us up at the airport. We then spent a week in the 70 degree weather, it was heavenly! We had a great time seeing everyone, doing crafts, going to a Clipper's game, and just playing outside.

Thanks everyone for making our Christmas so enjoyable! We miss you all.

(Here are a few pictures from our trip)

During our Christmas program at my parents house we had the kids act out the Nativity story. Lane was Joseph and Hannah was Mary.

Kate and Makenna played angels.Kate loved this dinosaur that Santa brought to Grandma and Grandpa's house. As long as it was shut off, or "night, night." The second it turned on she wanted nothing to do with it.

Christmas day at the Peterson's.

This one needs no explanation.
We had a great time at the Clipper's game, Kate loved watching the Basketball game, and all the fruit snacks it took to keep her sitting in her seat.
Seriously, who taught her that smile?
All the little girl cousins in their matching pajamas. Kate adores her cousins.

70 degree weather does sound nice right about now. Those are cute pictures of Kate in CA. And I love the matching jammies...it brings back lots of memories from Christmas Eve at Grandma Bailey's.

A riding dinosaur; what a cool grandma! She is so darling. I was thinking about coming up next week, what are you up to? I would love to see your little girl and of course you!
