Weekend of Camping

Matt, Kate, and I headed up to the Wind River Mountains this past weekend. We had a great time fishing, throwing rocks in the lake, looking for squirrles, reading, and just spending time as a family. It's not very often that we get three full days together as a family and Matt and I both loved every minute of it.

The weather was pretty crazy, it was sunny, rained, and snowed all in the same day. We just bundled up and went fishing anyways. Kate loved seeing the fish and even tried her hand at fishing while we were there. We're hoping to go camping at least once a month during the summer. Hopefully the weather will cooperate a little better for our future trips.

Kate was pretty excited to hold the fishing pole by herself.
She couldn't quite figure out how to wear the head lamp.
It snowed a lot, but by the next day it was all melted.

Wow! I can't believe that it is still snowing there in June! That is pretty crazy. Good thing you guys had some warm clothes.

Wow, sounds like an adventure! Where is this place you went. Sounds great! We, too, have made a goal to go camping once a month this summer. We will see. I love the headlamp picture. Kate is crazy cute!
