Pregnancy Update

With just about a month left, here's an update of the pregnancy. This past week I was scheduled for an ultrasound because I've been measuring small the last few weeks, and not gaining weight, actually I think I've lost weight.

(Side note: both of those things happened while I was pregnant with Kate)

The ultrasound had me a little concerned, I was just really hoping the baby was healthy and normal. Turns out she's doing great, measuring around 5 1/2 lbs. It's been determined I carry small because of a few reasons: 1. I have a long torso, that helps keep things tucked in instead of sticking straight out. 2. The baby is head down and as low as she can go, which also makes your belly look and measure smaller. 3. I was a small baby when I was born and most likely won't be giving birth to 9 lb or 10 lb babies, but who knows maybe the next one will be huge.

It was fun to see her again, and Matt and I are getting excited. I've finally got most of my baby stuff out and washed, and am currently working on organizing other parts of my home that need it. Here's to hoping the next month goes by quickly!

A picture from this week, I'd say my belly is looking plenty big to me.It's hard to take belly shots yourself.

I don't know if I ever told you or not, but I weighed 12 pounds when I was born. I guess that I should be very afraid to have children.

Amanda,
That's just sick you know. I'm glad all is well. Did you know we're expecting too? In February, and I think I'm as big as you are now...boo whoo! You look fabulous, keep up the good work mommy! Oh, by the way Chad and I had a good laugh over "icky frogs".

I am in agreement of your great luck... as long as she is healthy and strong (which she is!).

I'm so excited for your family to be adding another one!

You are always so stunning Amanda! I am glad the sweet baby is okay and that you are too! I can't wait for your new one to arrive as I am sure you and Matt and Kate feel the same way. Hope all is going well otherwise.
