1. A few days ago Matt took Kate to the grocery store. Cereal is a popular item at our house and Matt told Kate she could pick out any cereal she wanted. He showed her the Captain Crunch, Cookie Crisp, and many other cereals full of sugar. She declined all of his offers and instead chose Special K (with strawberries). Matt could not believe that's what she chose. It really is her favorite, every morning she asks for Special K. That's my girl!
2. Yesterday before church we were playing in the basement when I heard Kate say something like this "Time out, no spitting." I assumed she was recalling why she often goes on time out and ignored it. She said it again so I got up and walked to the corner where she has been on time out and found this:
I'm glad she's taking it upon herself to discipline her dolls when they act inappropriately.
3. She has taken on some of Matt's sense of humor and if she ever sees anyone fall, trip, slip, burp, or toot she laughs hysterically. I just shake my head and try not to laugh at her laugh. So if we're ever around any of you and you fall, trip, slip, burp, or toot and my child laughs ridiculously hard at you I apologize.
We love you Kate. Thanks for bringing an abundant amount of joy to our home. My life would not be nearly as exciting, funny, enjoyable, or complete without you.

The first two were really funny, but the third point made me laugh out loud. You have to record her laughing like that. Too funny.
btw - congrats to your sister on her new baby. He is a beautiful child. Congrats!
