Fishing FHE Style
For family home evening we headed out to a nearby lake and went fishing. Kate was in heaven playing in the dirt and using her own fishing pole. Gabriella enjoyed the back of the car and indulged herself by sucking on a fishing pole. I took pictures and Matt tried to catch "the big one." Unfortunately we had no success...again, but it was nice to get out and fun to watch Kate learn how to cast by herself. She is impressive at casting. Matt taught her how to put it behind her head and she managed to cast about 10 feet out into the water. I'm not sure who was more proud Kate or Matt.

Great pictures, Amanda. Looks like everyone had a fun time. I'm not surprised that Kate is already a good fisherman (or fisher-kid).
LOVE the pictures! I can really tell a difference in your pictures since you got your new camera. BTW, I talked to my friend about the bright eyes, and it was like I remembered...the subject in the shade looking towards the sun (you standing in the sun). What a fun FHE activity!
