Saturday we loaded up in the car bright and early and headed down to Delta so Matt could play in a softball tournament. It was a beautiful day. The girls and I enjoyed watching the games, chasing butterflies, playing at the nearby park, and taking entirely way too many pictures. We drove home later that night after making a stop at Cabela's. The girls were great the whole day and after we arrived home around 9:30pm they were both ready to play. They would not stop laughing at each other. Gabriella decided to try to start crawling and managed to go backwards and in a half circle before giving up. After playing for some time we finally got the girls in bed. We had a fun day and were grateful to spend the time as a family.
I have LOVED my new camera. I finally got out my new lens and tried it out. It's amazing. I can't wait to learn how to take better pictures. Anyone know any good sites on SLR photography?

Gabriella loved the swing. She would just smile and laugh except of course when I took her picture.
I sure love these girls more than anything.

I'm glad that you guys had a fun trip. Your pictures are so cute...it definitely makes me want to get a nice camera. I'll have to put that on my list of things to buy once we are done with school!
My goodness your girls are cute. Kate is looking so much older... and I'm glad Gabriella is getting mobile (but maybe I shouldn't be... is that a good thing or a bad thing?)
