What On Earth?

I was outside today and noticed these little bugs, hundreds of them, crawling all over the tree by our deck. I started to freak out and was about to look up an exterminator's phone number when I decided to do a little research first. Turns out these little insects are ladybug larvae. They're not destroying the tree, they are helping it and I guess I should be happy they are there. Kate will be thrilled when they turn into real ladybugs and I'm sure we'll have ladybugs everywhere!
