Fish Lake

This past week we spent at Fish Lake with Matt's Mom and Dad, his little brother, sister, and her two girls. We had such a fun time there I really didn't want to leave. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by the mountains. We stayed in a nice cabin and went fishing everyday. Kate loved playing with her cousins and Uncle Dan. Gabriella was just happy to be cruising around inside or outside the cabin. It was one of those trips that you just don't want to end. I hope we go back soon.

Here are a few of the highlights of the week for us:

*Grandma caught the biggest fish
*Kate caught 2 fish on her princess fishing pole
*Matt tried to cheat at a game of Uno but was put in his place by his wife (although he might tell a different story)
*Savannah and Kate pretended to be dogs one whole evening
*Gabriella was surprisingly good at walking on a moving boat
*Grandpa was a pro at finding all the good fishing spots
*Stayed up late telling funny stories and laughing with Jenny
*Dan had a huge fish on and didn't even know it
*Looking for and finding tons of deer one evening
*Seeing the family, we've missed them this summer
