Toothless and Hiccup
This past week Kate has been on a How To Train a Dragon kick. Matt and her rented it and ever since then I've only been allowed to call her Toothless and to call Gabriella Hiccup. When Gabriella wakes up from a nap Kate will yell to me, "Mom, Hiccup is awake!" It's amazing how she can stay in character for days. She pleads with Matt and I to fly her around the house like a dragon and she eats like a dragon. Every so often she hides behind the couch and I can hear growling before she suddenly jumps out to attack Hiccup. Hiccup thinks it's a great game, she runs screaming and laughing and then wanders back to find Toothless behind the couch. Kate refused to put on clothes all day yesterday because dragons don't wear clothes. I'm glad she has an imagination but I sure wish they would come out with a really cool kids movie where the kids cleaned up all their toys, obeyed their mother and father, and were always nice and shared with their siblings.

Amen. The only problem is it would probably be a princess movie and then my boys wouldn't watch it.
Kate is great. Too be we don't live closer - Andrew would love to play dragons with her.
