Today in primary Kate did the scripture. I had tried ahead of time to prepare her, reading through scriptures that would fit the theme we were given. After reading through about 5 of them she decided she wanted to to do the first Article of Faith instead. She had memorized it this month and felt confident she could say it without any help.
When the time came I walked up with her just in case she needed a little assistance. She smiled and repeated in a loud clear tone "We believe in God the Eternal Father and in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost." I was proud of her for not needing any help and for being so brave to get up and do that in front of everyone. It seems like she has really blossomed and changed so much over the past month.
