We received Christmas gifts from my parents and since we won't be here Christmas Day we decided to have Christmas early. We had a little program, then let the girls distribute the gifts. Matt and I decided Kate is the perfect Christmas age, she was sooo excited over every gift. The first one she opened, a horse painting kit, she said, "This is what I wanted for Christmas, I just didn't know it!" It was so fun and magical to watch her open each gift. Gabriella got the cutest and most appropriate shirt I've ever seen that quotes Shakespeare on it saying, "Though she be but little, she is fierce!" It's adorable on her! It was a fun night and I am so grateful for my parents and for all their love and time they spent on us. It's sure nice to feel so loved when you live far away.

After opening gifts, the girls gathered up all the wrapping paper and pretended they were "leaves" then took the Styrofoam packing and pretended it was "snow." They had a blast and made quite the mess in the process.
