Thanksgiving

We were so lucky to have Matt's Mom and Dad, and his brother Dan join us for Thanksgiving this year. The girls always love seeing Grandma and Grandpa, and playing with Uncle Dan. They were in heaven having them here wrestling and cuddling with Grandpa, showing off art work to Grandma, and teasing Uncle Dan. Kate even got a lesson from the best roll maker around, Grandma. Kate was intent on helping with every step of the Thanksgiving dinner. She did a great job rolling out the dough for the rolls, and cutting them out with a cup.

The dinner turned out fantastic and we all ate until we could barley move, or at least I did. Later that night Matt's Mom and I headed out for some Black Friday Shopping. It was a little crazy, and probably not something I would do every year but waiting in line for 2 hours was worth it when I got my new vacuum.

The rest of the weekend was spent going to quilt stores and finding new fun projects to do, fishing, playing at a park, eating more good food, having major Nerf gun assaults by Kate and Gabriella, and a little shopping at the outlet mall. It was such a fun weekend and made me feel so grateful to have family here with us. Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Dan for making our weekend so much fun!!! We loved having you here with us.

Unfortunately I didn't get too many pictures, I guess we were just too busy having fun!
