Playing Catch Up

It seems like February flew by this year. It was a fun month with visits from family, beautiful weather, and a few fun activities. Here's to hoping the next 3 1/2 months go by just as fast!

Matt's mom made the girls these adorable Valentine's outfits. Kate really got into the Valentine's spirit this year, which was a lot of fun. We spent at least an hour making Valentine's for her class. It's so fun to have her at an age where she loves to get into the holidays.
Next up we were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Peterson, and Uncle Dan come for a weekend visit. The boys headed out Friday night on an all night very successful fishing adventure. The next day we spent playing, eating, shopping, and just hanging out together. We always feel so blessed to be closer to family. Kate rekindled her love of worms thanks to the fishermen.
This past weekend we loaded everyone up early Saturday morning and headed over to watch the Dodgers Spring Training. It's been a fun tradition that we've done the past 3 years. This year we went earlier in the season than past years and it definitely paid off. There weren't very many people there and we were able to get some great pictures with a few of Matt's favorite players, Matt Kemp and Tony Gwynn Jr. The girls loved rolling and running down the hills. I have a feeling we'll be spending many Saturday mornings out there.

After Spring Training we headed over to a Sportsman Expo close by. It turned out to be a lot of fun walking around looking at everything. The girls were able to fish from a giant tank full of rainbow trout. Kate caught one, touched it, and smiled for the picture while Gabriella hid behind Matt because one fish splashed her. I'm afraid Gabriella doesn't share the same love of all things outdoor and animals like Kate does.
A few random pictures from the past month.

I think your girls are going to know more about baseball than I do pretty soon! All of the random pics are super cute!
