Life has been oh so uninteresting lately. Kate is sick...again, no fun. Her once all night sleeping pattern has been disrupted by waking every few hours. I'm hoping this won't last long. My days have been spent holding her (when she's sick she is cranky and tired). I need to do laundry, dishes, clean, scrub the bathroom, vacuum my hair off the bathroom floor (gross), start packing for Omaha, do some Christmas shopping, finish my homemade gifts, and make dinner, all while holding my cranky sick child. This should be a fun day!
Matt has been super busy at work, he came home at 4:30am the other night. I'm so grateful he works hard for our family, but I do miss seeing my husband.
Kate and I head for Omaha Monday and I can't wait. This will be her second time flying and hopefully she'll be feeling better by then. Otherwise I think I'll buy courtesy air plugs for the other passengers on the plane, if ya know what I mean. Other than that there's not too much going on around here. I miss watching Dancing With the Stars, lucky for me the tour will be in Omaha while I'm there, Marie Osmond, here I come.
I started Kate on rice cereal only to find that it has made her constipated. The poor little thing, her face turns bright red as she pushes for her life. I think I'm going to give up on that for a few more weeks. Plus, who would want to eat rice cereal when you can have super boobie milk?
Well I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the holidays, since Kate's been sick and Matt is never home I've been confined to my house...I just sit and look out the window at the cars driving by and think, "gee that used to be me." Thank goodness for television, or else I'd actually have to get stuff done.
This picture has a funny story...This is Morgan, my little brother (not so little any more) last summer we were in Nebraska on a river swimming. Morgan was pretending to be a cat fish (don't ask me why) he was swimming on the bottom of the river and scratched his nipple on a stick. He came up from the water screaming, "my nipple!" My mom, dad, Matt, and I all laughed hysterically at his expense. Here's a picture of his scratched nipple. That story just made everything seem so much better, thanks Morgan.

I wish a million times over that we lived closer! You and I could play all day. Hazen is a little bit sick today, and is slightly high maintenance. Unfortunately for me, Friday is my main cleaning day. Needless to say, our place looks like a giant piece of crap. Boo.
Mix the boobie milk with the rice cereal... or add more water to it so it's runny. That may ease up her pluggage issues. Your list of to-do's has reminded me of my own list that I am putting off. I don't have a sick baby at the moment, but can remember that on nights when I didn't sleep well, it was even more difficult to find my motivation. Ugh. Also... on our flight to Germany, I passed out hershey kisses before our plane took off to those who sat near to us...along with my..."i apologize in advance" speech.
I just about fell off my chair laughing at your "super boobie milk" comment. Thanks for making my day!
Have fun in Omaha - wish we were seeing you this Christmas!
What are you guys doing New Years Eve?? As I type this, I realize that the chances that Matt is working are great. When is he not working? When can we play? (We have a spare bedroom......I'm telling you, it will be worth your while!)
You have the attack of the newish blogger: meaning that you update a lot, and then you NEVER update at all. You're killing me, smalls!
