Valentines Day

I need some serious help here. Matt and I are very unromantic people, although I'd like to be more romantic we just aren't. Every Valentines Day we've spent married he has had to work, boo hoo! I am the type that always sets expectations for special ocassions like Valentines Day, Anniversaries, Birthdays, ect. I'd like to do something nice for him this year no strings attatched meaning I'm going to try hard not to expect anything in return. Unfortunately I'm all out of ideas so ladies out there I'm hoping you can give me some good ideas.

*What do you do for your husbands on holidays such as this?

*What do your husbands do for you?

Ideas that cost little to no money would be great. Thanks for the help!

I'm trying to do a 14 days of February where every day I give him a little gift with a note that tells him why I love him. Examples: Box of Nerds (to thank him for the hard work he does at school.); Heart Candy (to thank him for his sweet hear); Milk Duds (to thank him for not being a "Dud" of a husband); dog bisquits (to thank him for loving animals and taking such good care of ours).... You can do almost anything here. The gifts are only about a dollar each and is a sweet reminder each day.

What a cute idea! I guess I'm already a little behind to do 14 days of February. Your such a great wife, thanks for the good idea.

Having kids makes it harder to do something on actual Valentine's day - especially now that we are away from grandparents. We usually just spend the night at home with the family. Rhett always brings me home a card and flowers and I buy or make him a card and fix the dinner of his choice. Once the kids are in bed, we spend some time together - last year Rhett and I listened to the many songs that have become our favorites over the years and danced to them. Cheesy, yes, but it was nice to have some quiet time together (something we don't get very often). Hope that helps - Good luck on ideas.

I don't think I have any cute ideas. John is the one who always seems to surprise me with something cute and romantic. I think I'm a bad wife!! I'll let you know if I come up with anything, and you let me know if you come up with some good ideas!
