This past two weeks has been pretty busy for us. Last week I decided to redo our bathroom floor along with repainting the bathroom (which I've decided I'm going to repaint again.) And this week we finally got a new bathroom counter top. Good bye purple laminate and hello onyx marble. I installed the counter top by myself while Matt was at work. I've been quite surprised by my handy skills. I guess I watch too many HGTV so I think I can do everything by myself. I've also been doing some redecorating. Once I get on a kick I have a hard time stopping. Let's just say Lowe's has become my new favorite store.In other news with our family, Kate said "Ut Oh" today, I said it to her and she repeated it to me, it was pretty darn cute. Her and I go out to wander through stores daily. We both love getting out, and she's a great shopping partner.
The dogs are great, considering their current situation. Our neighbor is putting up a new fence so we are without a completely fenced yard for a few days. Which normally wouldn't be a big deal unless you have two Husky puppies that LOVE to run free. We've been keeping them in the garage which has been completely destroyed including many of my Christmas decorations. They're good dogs other than their few bad habits.
Matt has been working a lot lately, I guess to make up for missed vacation time. We miss seeing him, but I'm grateful I have a husband that works so hard for his family.

Great work on the countertop!!! How exciting to get it in. The bathroom looks fantastic - especially with the new floor and shower curtain. You have done an excellent job with it all. Sorry to hear about the dogs in the garage. Does this mean that you get a new fence too?
You've been busy! Your bathroom looks great! I was just thinking the other morning how fun it would be to flip houses...we should recruit my mom and do it all together...maybe Uncle Ken would finance... :)

The bathroom and the shelves look awesome! I'll have to come over and see it in person sometime. I can't believe Kate is getting so big! We really need to play more often - we live so close, we really don't have an excuse not to. As soon as I get pictures from the wedding printed, we're going to set up our scrapbooking night.
Wow, I'm so impressed! I watch HGTV a lot too, but I'm too much of a wimp to try doing things without Boyd's help.

The floor and counter look great; good job! Seriously, the next time you come to Omaha, I am going to have you help me decorate my apartment. I am so bad at it.
That is so cute that Kate is starting to say some words. She is adorable, and I can't wait to see her again.
