Father's Day

Sunday was a great day. They just split our nursery into four different groups (yes, it's that big). Matt had to work, so his sister Melissa and her husband Dave were kind enough to come to church with me to help with nursery and Kate. Kate loves her Aunt Melissa and Uncle Dave, I couldn't believe she would sit on their lap during church, she won't even sit on Matt's lap during church! It was great having them and I sure appreciated the help.
After church Kate and I were lucky enough to enjoy one of the perks of Matt's job, free buffet on Father's Day. It was great not having to cook, and the food was of course excellent.

Since it was Father's Day, I think I should mention what a great father Matt is, I can't imagine what it would be like without him. He adores Kate and she loves him so much. When she was a baby he would always stay up into the wee hours of the morning so that I could sleep. He watches her while I go to work, and he loves the time he gets to spend with just her and him. He is always anxious to see her and take care of her, even after working 15 hour days. He misses her when he doesn't see her, enough so that he wakes her up from naps to say goodbye. He is a wonderful man and I am one lucky woman to be married to him. Thanks for all you do Matt, we love you.

That is so sweet that Matt loves Kate so much that he would wake her up to say goodbye! Kate looks adorable in those pictures. You definitely have one cute family.
