What a Great Day

Kate and I had a great day, despite having to do the laundry. We played, sang songs, visited Matt at work, and went to the mall to walk around. I can't believe she is going to be a year old next week, where does time go? I've really been enjoying her at this stage in her life. She does the cutest things everyday. She has started reading her books to herself, she says "da," then turns the page and says "da" a little louder, then turns the page again and says "dada" almost yelling. It's pretty funny to watch. She does the actions to the Itsy Bitsy Spider, and points at everything in the house saying "dis." All day long I name off items for her as she points. She gives big hugs and open mouthed kisses, and I love it. All in all I feel really blessed to have such a wonderful little girl. She is a joy to have in our home, and I thank heavenly Father everyday for blessing us with her. Here are a few pictures of her favorite activities. (I think we finally got the pigtail thing down.)

Playing in the bathroom.

Yelling at the doggies.Reading books, this is her absolute favorite thing to do.
And finally, walking the furniture.

She is so adorable! And already one!! Wow - time flies. The boys, Zach especially, were sure excited to hear she was having a birthday. He still blesses her in his prayers!

Too cute! One is such a fun age. Enjoy every minute of her before she hits those terrible twos!!! And very cute hair... I still can't get Savvy to let me put her hair in a ponytail. Kate is already so fashionable with the sweeping bangs and everything.

I love the pigtails...it is just so girlie! I am excited that you found my blog. How did you happen accross it? It will be fun to keep in touch. I had heard that you had a blog, but had no idea how to find it. By the way, Kate is absolutely adorable, not that I expected anything less.
