Wow, where does time go? Kate turned 18 months old yesterday. I've been thinking about how grateful I am that she was sent to our family. She has become so funny these last few months. It seems like she is learning on a daily basis and it amazes me what she knows how to do. Here are a few of her favorite words these days: Help, Up, Elm (Elmo), All done, and don't touch. She thinks "don't touch" is especially funny. When I say to her "don't touch" she mocks me by walking around and touching everything, the walls, the couch, the floor, the rug, yelling "don't touch!" She thinks it's hilarious.
She loves to sing songs and do the actions to Popcorn Popping, 5 Monkeys Swinging In The Tree, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, If Your Happy and You Know It, and 5 Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed.
She gives hugs and kisses constantly. It's great, there's nothing better than a kiss from her. She has even learned to close her mouth when she kisses. Last week we were out shopping and stopped in a toy section, Kate found a toy that had Elmo and Cookie Monster on the box, she picked it up and started giving them kisses. Then she continued to do so to all the other toys. We got some funny looks, but what can I say she's sweet and likes to give kisses.
Kate your mom and dad love you so much, thank you for being a part of our family and for making us smile everyday.

What a super cute girl!!! Can't believe that she's already 18 months.
that whole learning how to kiss with your mouth closed (as a little toddler) is such a wonderful milestone! happy 18 months!
