To Stitch or Not to Stitch

Yesterday I was having a brilliant moment and I managed to slice my hand on a can I had just opened with the can opener. I didn't think much of it until I washed it with water and realized how deep it was. I could see bumpy tissue so I'm guessing it's almost a 1/2 inch deep cut and about and inch and 1/2 long. (I'll spare you the picture for those of you who have "tender stomachs.")

I called Matt at work not sure what I should do. He kindly came home, investigated it and came to the decision that I needed stitches. I politely told him "no thank you."

Instead I think I'll invest in some super glue and stick with the giant bandage on my hand, which Kate won't let me touch her with because she thinks it's "gucky." Seriously, anytime I try to give her something with that hand or dress her with it, she screams "no no gucky."

Here's to hoping it heals fast because I can't do everything for that child with one hand.

Okay, she's right it is "gucky."

That totally sucks and is so funny. I hope it gets better soon.

Bummer, I hate those kind of cuts. I hope the "gucky" goes away fast! I love the new blog look by the way. Super cute!
