Current Phrases

Kate has been saying some pretty cute phrases lately and I'd hate to forget them.

1. "Daddy is soooo nice." She says this one as clear as I can say it and she repeats it all day long for me.

2. That phrase is usually followed by "Horses are very nice, fishes are so nice, sharks are so nice, Elmo is so nice, Dogs are very nice..." And she continues through all the things she thinks are nice. (I've never once been added to her list, maybe I need to work on being nicer?)

3. She's been really into opposites lately her favorites are "Asleep, Awake!", and "Open, Close." She demonstrates both of those while saying them.

4. "Daddy's at work." She tells me this phrase randomly throughout the day also.

5. Yesterday she told me she wanted "Mommy, Daddy, Kate, ride big horsey." That would be her little ride on horse. I kindly told her I didn't think we would all fit.

6. Sometimes I can't decode what she is saying, but I do my best and when I get it right she always replies with "Okay." Usually that applies to phrases like "sucker please." And I say "You want a sucker?" she gives me a huge smile and says "Okay." Like it was my idea all along.

In other news we took her to the Dr. yesterday because she was having some strange smelling urine for about 2 weeks now. I worried it might be a urinary tract infection, but she had no other symptoms and she didn't act like she was in pain at all. Turns out she does indeed have one, I felt horrible that it's gone on this long but she has been quite the trooper. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
