Christmas

Since we had been traveling the week before Christmas we decided we would stay home this year on Christmas.  We bought a real Christmas tree, for the first time in my marriage!  The girls were so cute this year.  They woke up at the crack of dawn to see what Santa had brought.

Matt and I had a lot of discussion over whether Santa would bring "wrapped gifts" or "unwrapped gifts."  Obviously growing up both our families did it different.  In the end we ended up compromising and Santa wrapped the small gifts but left the big ones unwrapped.

It was such a nice relaxing day.  The kids were happy and the house was a total mess.  We were once again spoiled by our families who sent awesome gifts for the kids.  We always feel so grateful and blessed to have such great families that are constantly showing us their love.

Matt's Mom made the girls these super cute Christmas shirts.  The girls wore them for days after Christmas.

During our long drive to Texas I finally got motivated and finished our Christmas stockings I had started when Kate was a baby.
