Make Believe

Gabriella has gotten really into make believing lately.  She pretends she is riding a horse everywhere we go, usually it's Angus (from Brave).  Angus comes in the car with us, the house, and everywhere she goes, except the bathtub "because he would break it."  She runs all over the place saying "Come on Angus let's go!"  It really is cute. 

Up until recently it was just make believe animals, and mostly horses.  Then a few days ago I had Gabriella and Kate in a shopping cart.  They were trying to not touch each other when Gabriella finally had to stretch her legs.  She kicked Kate and Kate was upset.  When Kate started to tell me, Gabriella quickly replied, "It wasn't me, it was my other sister who kicked her.  She's the one who does all the naughty things, not me."  I asked her about her "other" sister, and Gabriella went on and on about her, just as if she was sitting there in the cart with the girls.  I didn't pay it too much attention until again tonight I heard her talking about her "other sister"  Kayla, (apparently she has a name now)  and how Kayla likes to stick her hands in the toilet sometimes.  Gabriella informed me she would never stick her hands in the toilet, but Kayla does sometimes. 

I really do love watching Gabriella's imagination grow, I just hope Kayla doesn't start setting a bad example for her..
