In June we headed to California for Matt's little brother's mission farewell. All the family came into town, and it was one giant party for the weekend. Everyone swam, played games, and enjoyed our last few days with Uncle Dan. The girls always love being with their cousins. Dan spoke in church on Sunday, and did a fantastic job.
Monday we said our goodbyes, and headed home to Phoenix. Dan will be serving in the Lancing, Michigan Mission. I'm so grateful for the young men and women who make the choice to serve missions for our church. They put their life on hold, to go and serve the Lord for 2 years. And in the process they are blessed richly, and come away with stronger testimonies and closer to their Father in heaven they ever knew possible. Dan has so many nieces and nephews that look up to him, and I am grateful for the example he has set for them.
